Obituary
Timothy Ray Payton, age 51, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (December 21, 2010) in La Follete, TN.
He was born on May 8, 1959 in Grayson Co., KY, the son of Murvel Payton and Ruby Duggins Payton Young. He was a truck driver for Regal Petroleum and was a member of the Yeaman Church of Christ.
He is survived by his son, Timothy Justin Payton (Katrina) of Caneyville, one daughter, Bridget Payton of Leitchfield, his mother, Ruby Young (Wavy) of Leitchfield, six sisters, Dena Salmon of Leitchfield, Wanda Young, Freda Noblett, Ginger Robinson and Reba Young all of Leitchfield, and Peggy Young of Caneyville and a grandson, Jamison Payton. He was preceded in death by his father, Murvel, a grandson, Coby Payton and a brother, Wilbur Lee Payton.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday (December 24, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Denver Young will be officiating. Burial will be in the Oller Cemetery in Caneyville.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
