Tony White, age 70, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (October 15, 2021) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on September 16, 1951 in Fort Knox, KY, the son of the late Tony Wallace White Sr. and Bessie Elzy Gilmore (Howard).

He was a heavy equipment operator and an outdoorsman who enjoyed trading, fishing, hunting, riding horses and competing in horse riding competitions.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Duke White of Leitchfield, his children, Nicholas "Nick" White and Tonya Powell (Branden) of Leitchfield, Wayne White (Chrissy) also of Leitchfield; four grandchildren, Destiny White, Addyson & McKenzie Powell, and Tyler White; three sisters, Donna Frank, Janie Decker (Robert) and Shirley Kiper (Mike) all of Leitchfield; and a brother, Eddie White (Brenda) of Caneyville, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Howard Gilmore.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, (October 19, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Curtis Decker will be officiating. Burial will be in Leitchfield Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
