Obituary
Truly E. Carter, age 83 of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (June, 27, 2008) at the Grayson Manor Nursing Home.
She was born March 10, 1925, in Grayson County KY, the daughter of Robert and Mamie Hack Lasley. She was a homemaker, Member of the Eastern Star, and the First General Baptist Church in Leitchfield.
She is survived by one son: Lloyd G. Carter of Longview, TX; two grandchildren, Mike Carter and Melanie Nothe both of TX, three sisters: Gracie Newton, and Delphine Jaggers both of Clarkson, KY, and Francis Johnson of Shepherdsville, KY; two brothers: Donald Lasley and William Lasley both of Leitchfield, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Garland Carter, one sister Rosie Gaither, three brothers, Ova, Layman and Doris Lasley.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday (June 30, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Buddy Brooks will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield after 12:00 noon on Sunday (June 29, 2008)
