Tyler Steven Whitman, age 30, of Clearwater, FL, passed away Wednesday, (March 24, 2021) at his residence.

He was born on November 2, 1990 in Elizabethtown, KY, the son of the Melvin Whitman and the late Tina Fuqua.

He was a former butcher for Kroger who enjoyed listening to music, a U of L fan, watching baseball and was a fan of the New York Yankees Baseball Team.

He is survived by his father, Melvin Whitman (Dana) of Elizabethtown, KY; two brothers, Brandon Whitman (Shi) of Leitchfield, KY, and Chad Whitman (Melissa) of Bowling Green, KY; one sister, Stormi Burke of Louisville, KY; one step-sister, Paige Monin; one step-brother, Michael Monin; one uncle, Kevin Fuqua of Louisville, KY; and four aunts, Regina Fuqua of Clearwater, FL, Lisa Peach (Byron) of Owensboro, KY, Lana Trail (Alan) and Phyllis Whitman both of Leitchfield, KY; and one grandmother, Imogene Whitman.

He was preceded in death by his three grandparents, Bob Whitman, Tommy Fuqua and Cindy Fuqua.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, (March 31, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Damon Lasley Jr. will be officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
