Veda Mae Willis, age 86, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (June 09, 2025) at Grayson Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on August 01, 1938 in Edmonson County, KY, the daughter of the late Palman and Theresa Miller.

She was a well-known waitress in the community who enjoyed sewing, wood crafting, flowers and yardwork; and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leitchfield.

She is survived by her children, Sherry Miller Pawley (Donald "Luke") of Caneyville, Tama Woosley of Indiana, Elliott Woosley and Debbie DiPietro (Pete), both of Leitchfield, Clinton Woosley of Louisville and Larry Woosley (Kelly) of Elizabethtown; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter on the way. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Estill "Woffie" and William Miller.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, (June 14, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Marty Embry will be officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
