Obituary
Velma Willis Maxwell age 76, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday (March 7, 2008) in Louisville.
She was born on August 3, 1931 in Grayson County KY, the daughter of Homer and Ida Davis Willis.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Miller Embry of Leitchfield, three sons, Pete and his wife Janice Embry of Caneyville, Shirley and his wife Peggy of Leitchfield, Kent and his wife Cathy Embry of Leitchfield, one sister, Cova Buse of Louisville, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren also survive. Her parents, one brother, Hubert Willis, three sisters. Cuba Lashley, Zetta Willis and Gladys Willis preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday (March 10, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield, Bro. Wavie Pierce will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield after 2:00 p.m. Sunday (March 9, 2008)
