Obituary
Velma Newton Pleasant age 90 of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday (August 21 2010) at the Grayson Manor Nursing Home.
She was born January 24, 1920 in Iowa the daughter of Jim and Nancy Ann Decker.
She is survived by one son, Charles (Nancy) Newton of Leitchfield, two daughters, Hazel (Hubert) Redmon of Caneyville, Rita (Jim) Brant of Leitchfield,one daughter-n-law, Doris Newton of Leitchfield, 13 grandchildren, and several great and great great-grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death two sons, Elmer Thomas and James Newton, one daughter Pearl Alvey.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (August 24 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with burial in the Williams cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield after 2:00 p.m. Monday (August 23, 2010)
