Obituary
Victor Richard Beck, age 74, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Tuesday, (June 23, 2009) at his residence.
He was born on January 4, 1935, in Louisville, KY, the son of Harvey and Viola Richards Beck. He was a maintenance supervisor for Mead Corporation and a member of the Sulphur Wells Missionary Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis Williams Beck of Clarkson, one son Darryl Beck (Amy) of London, KY, one daughter Teresa McMonigal (Steve) of Big Clifty, KY, three sisters, Alice Whelan of Falls of Rough, Frances Lewis of Louisville, and Joyce Gogan of Alabama, and also several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son Stephen Allan Beck.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00a.m. (June 27, 2009) at the Sulphur Wells Missionary Baptist Church in Clarkson. Bro Joe Brooks will be officiating. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Sulphur Wells Missionary Baptist Church from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
