Obituary
Violet Simpson, age 73, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (June 2, 2013) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
She was born on March 18 1940, in Waldwick, NJ, the daughter of the late John and Marjorie Hammond Fisher.
She was a retired assembly line worker, and former shift supervisor for an electronic computer chip company.
She is survived by two daughters, Signe Poradish and Dorothy Sisco, both of Leitchfield; one son, Todd Simpson and wife Debbie of St. Petersburg, FL; seven grandchildren, John Sisco, Amanda, Matthew, Madison, and Kristina Poradish, Ricky, and Joshua Krom; and one great-grandson, Teagen Sisco.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Raymond Simpson; four sisters, Margarite Maratine, Murial Irving, Marlene Fisher, and Doris Bolson; and one brother, Walter Fisher.
Cremation was chosen and a private burial service will be held in New York.
