Virginia N. Dayvolt, age 92, of Falls of Rough, KY, (formerly of Evansville, IN) passed away Friday, (December 10, 2021) at Springview Nursing and Rehab.

She was born on December 25, 1928 in Evansville, IN, to the late Emmett Richard and Daisy Gillians Winfield.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Sue (Shultz) Lumpkin; two grandchildren, Dwayne English (Julie) and Aaron Callis (Krista); six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Oliveen Winfield & Berdina Gariepy. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Lee Dayvolt; a daughter, Betty Ann (Shultz) Sutherlin; two sisters, Jacqueline Hurt & Marjorie Brantley; and two brothers, Joseph & James Winfield.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen and burial will follow in Layman Memorial Cemetery.
