Virginia Ruth Vincent, age 81, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Sunday (June 13, 2021) at Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born on May 6, 1940 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Garfield and Bessie Hayes Poole.

She retired from Grayson Manor Nursing and Rehab as a cook. She enjoyed working in her flower bed, cooking and canning for her family. She was a hard worker all her life.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Noah H. Vincent of Falls of Rough; her children, Hazel Bush (Chris) of Fisherville, KY, Debbie Finn of Millwood, Lester Vincent of Shrewsbury and Brenda Coffey (James) of Falls of Rough; three sisters, Frances McCombs of Duff, Alice Patterson of Leitchfield and Edie Burnette (Paul) of Leitchfield; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Karen Coffey, Shirley VanMeter and Timothy Wayne Vincent; two brothers, Henry and Jerry Poole; four sisters, Mary Kiper, Dorothy House, Ruie Wohlscheid and Ann Wohlscheid.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, (June 18, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Nathan Lowe will be officiating. Burial will be in the Storms Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Friday until time of services.
