Vivian "Delois" Phelps, age 83, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (November 10, 2021) at University of Louisville Hospital.

She was born on April 26, 1938 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Coy and Glennie Milliner Drane.

She worked as a house-cleaner, farmed with her husband, and together with her husband, owned a construction company. She loved to sew, crochet, garden and tend to her flowers. She attended Hardin Springs Community Church in Hardin County. She and her husband, Wesley, donated the land and built the church in the 1970's.

She is survived by her sister, Stella Phelps of Leitchfield; nieces and nephews, Lonnie Phelps, Mae Sellers, Wanda Woods, Lester Phelps, Sherry Dennis, Sharon Kennedy, Regina Goodman, Tina Decker and Barbara Johnson; several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Phelps; three nephews, Garland Dennis, William Dennis and Donnie Phelps.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. CST Monday, (November 15, 2021) at the Hardin Springs Community Church in Hardin County. Bro. Randy Dennis will be officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery in Hardin County.

Visitation will be at the Hardin Springs Community Church from 9:30 a.m. CST on Monday until time of services.
