Walter Thomas Barton's Obituary
Walter Thomas Barton, age 59, of Leitchfield, KY passed away Monday, (December 4, 2006) at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Ky.
He was born on November 22, 1947, in Grayson Co., KY, the son of Clark and Lillian Metcalf Barton. He was a retired plumbing inspector.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Manion Barton, one son, Wesley Thomas Barton of Leitchfield, one daughter, Paula Sanders of Leitchfield, two brothers, Lucian of Bowling Green, KY and Steve Barton of Leitchfield and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Norma Barton.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday (December 8, 2006) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. Garry Watkins and Howard Decker will be officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. until time of service Friday.
