Walter Albert Niedrich, age 81, of Leitchfield, KY, formerly of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, (December 05, 2018) at his home in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on January 21, 1937 in Buffalo, NY.

He retired as a superintendent from Stoll Construction, was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a Mason. He enjoyed fishing and any outside activity.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Roberts Niedrich; children, Cynthia Baker (Claude) of Florida, Mary Jane Skaggs (Kevin) of Tennessee, and Thomas Niedrich of Leitchfield; grandchildren, Matthew Baker (Janick), Andrew Baker (Tracy), Jessica Wheeler (Jimmy), Kristin Skaggs-Kirby (Matt); and one great-grandchild, Julianne Wheeler.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lillian Niedrich.

Cremation was chosen.
