Wanda Woosley Cassidy, age 97, of Lexington, formerly from Grayson County, passed away Saturday, (October 20, 2018) in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on September 8, 1921, in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Lester and Beulah Embry Woosley.

She was a housewife, who enjoyed reading her Bible, attending Bible studies, watching and listening to television ministries, and working puzzles.

She is survived by her sons, Richard Cassidy of Lexington, and Phillip Cassidy (Eva) of Laredo, Texas; six grandchildren, Kimberly Travis, Deborah Howard, Michelle Redmon, York, Mindy and Wayne Cassidy; six great-grandchildren, Johnathon, Shawna, Tiffany, Andrew, Ashley and Brooke; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Aubrey and Bill Woosley.

A Private Burial will be held at Layman Cemetery.
