Wanda Coates Clyde, age 88, of Shepherdsville, KY, passed away Saturday, (March 16, 2019) at Hildegard House in Louisville, KY.

She was born on September 15, 1930, in Edmonson County, KY, the daughter of the late Audrey and Lena McCrady Coates.

She was a home-maker who enjoyed collecting dolls and glassware. She worked in several restaurants at a younger age. She married her husband, Paul Clyde in 1963. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Phillip Jacob, Michael David and Peter John Barth; brother, Thomas Coates (Joyce) of Leitchfield; sisters, Dorothy and Laverne; her neighbor and good friend, Mary Carter and several nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Clyde, her son, Peter Barth, sister, Juanita Coates Ross and brother, Randall Jr. Coates.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, (March 20, 2019) at Dermitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be at Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of services.
