Obituary
Wanda Gay Embry, age 68, of Beaver Dam, KY passed away Friday, (December 1, 2006) at the Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehad in Beaver Dam.
She was born on February 14, 1938, in Grayson Co., KY, the daughter of Rex and Mariah Watson Blanton. She was a housewife.
She is survived by three sons, Tommy (Edra) Embry of Beaver Dam, KY, Darrell and John Kessinger both of Morgantown, KY, one daughter, Evelyn Nottingham of Leitchfield, one brother, Thomas Blanton of Florence AL, two sisters, Hazel Embry and Mary Baker both of Munfordville, KY and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Milburn, Roy, Howard, Stanley and Rex Jr.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (December 5, 2006) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro Cletus Bowman will be officiating. Burial will be in the Lyle Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday.
