Wanda Lou Martin, age 84 , of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (March 29, 2022) at Springview Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield.

She was born on July 31, 1937 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Jesse and Jenny Priddy Sims.

She was a sales clerk at Proffitt's department store, who enjoyed baking and decorating cakes. She was a member of Bloomington Baptist Church and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her children, Robbie Damron and Kay Mudd, both of Shrewsbury; Tonya Blanton (Calvin) of Leitchfield, and Leisa Carman (David) of Hardinsburg, KY; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Kris Burden; a son-in-law, Claude Mudd; a daughter-in-law, Sarah Damron; three brothers, Eldon, Jess and Easol Sims; a sister, Sarah Priddy; and a special friend, Daisy Ballenger.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, (April 3, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Doug Edwards will be officiating. Burial will be in the Lile Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
