Wanda Sue Woosley, age 71, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (September 19, 2021) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on January 2, 1950 in Shrewsbury, KY, the daughter of the late Shelby and Quincey Whobrey Miller.

She had worked as an employee of Wilson Muir Bank for ten years and also was a property owner alongside her husband.  She graduated from Caneyville High School. She was happiest being a "Granny" to her grandchildren. She loved to collect Fenton glass, cooking and gardening. She attended Cross Point Baptist Church in Leitchfield.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Woosley; two children, Michelle Woosley Saltsman and Daryl Woosley; four grandchildren, Jacob and Zackery Woosley, Steffan Willoughby and Millie Saltsman; two sisters, Doris Odle and Catherine Shartzer (Chester); her beloved dog, Sparky and several nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Galen Austin, Jerry Lee and Kendell Dale Miller.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (September 26, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jerry Dunaway and Bro Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the Shrewsbury Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
