Wendell Oneal Minton, age 72, of Russellville, KY, passed away Sunday, (October 31, 2021) in Russellville.

He was born on September 19, 1949 in Grayson County, the son of the late Raymond Minton and Sylvia (Powell) Minton Duvall.

He had worked at John Conti Coffee Company as a delivery driver and service technician. He graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business.  He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, and all sports. He was an avid UK Wildcat basketball fan. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family, having meals and grilling-out. He was of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his children, Adam Minton (Anna), Casey Minton, Luke Minton and Holly England; sixteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Donald Minton, Tammy Pierce (Tony), Cindy Decker (Dewayne) and Danny Duvall (Pam); and several nieces and nephews.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jan Minton, an infant brother, Stanley Minton and three other brothers, Ronald Minton, Johnny Duvall and Sammy Duvall.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (November 7, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Garry Watkins will be officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. on Sunday until time of service.
