Obituary
Wendell Keith Roof, age 48, of Elizabethtown, KY, passed away Friday, (January 29, 2016) at his home.
He was born on June 5, 1967 in Elizabethtown, KY, the son of the late Ernest Lee and Hilma King Roof.
He was a tree trimmer, who enjoyed hunting arrowheads, fishing, riding motorcycles and spending time with his children.
He is survived by his children, Breanna and Trenton Tucker both of Big Clifty, KY, five sisters, Anna Campbell and Marsha Roof both of Campbellsville, KY, Brenda Kerr and Darlene Grubbs both of Elizabethtown, and Regina Huff of Clarkson, KY, two brothers, Kenny Roof of Clarkson and Delbert Roof of Big Clifty and several nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin, Charles and Billy Roof.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, (February 2, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Summit Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will at the Dermitt Funeral Home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 8:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
