Widd D. McStoots, age 87, born in the Sadler Community of Grayson County on February 12, 1923, went to his Lord on April 9, 2010. He was the loving husband of Winnie Mae Carroll McStoots for 64 years, and the giving and cherished father of Brad and Barb.

He was the Rock of his family through many years of trials and tribulations.

He is survived by his wife Winnie Mae Carroll McStoots; one daughter Barbara Jo (Barb) Mitchell; three grandsons, Joey Mitchell, Monty W. Mitchell and his wife Amy, and Derek McStoots; three great granddaughters, Alex Jo Mitchell, Kinley Marie Mitchell, and Aubrey Elizabeth Mitchell; two brothers Charles and Junior McStoots both of Leitchfield. He is also survived by one special granddaughter Laura Cooper. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Johnny and Viva Langdon McStoots, his son and daughter-in-law Brad and Colleen McStoots.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (April 13, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Ed Cockriel will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sadler-New Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 9:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
