Wilbur Glyn Haycraft, age 83, of Anneta, KY, passed away Wednesday, (July 28, 2021) at his home.

He was born on February 27, 1938 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late George and Vonnie Ford Haycraft.

He was a veteran of the US Army and a construction worker, who enjoyed hunting and listening to & playing music. He attended the Long Branch Holiness Church and was a member of Local 576.

He is survived by his daughter, Bernice Saltsman (Terrell) of Leitchfield; a son, Wilbur Haycraft (Stephanie) of Anneta, KY; two grandchildren, Beckie Decker and Kaleb Haycraft (Haley), both of Anneta; an adopted grandchild, Bryan Meredith of Clarkson, KY; two sisters, Betty Raley and Dee Matthews (Denny) both of Louisville, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Louise Whitaker Haycraft; seven brothers and two sisters.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, (July 31, 2021) at the Haycraft Cemetery on McGrew Church Road in Leitchfield. Bro. Vester Decker will be officiating with burial to follow.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
