Wilda Sue Green, age 77, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (July 23, 2023) at the Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY.

She was born on November 17, 1945 in Whiting, IN, the daughter of the late Randall and Audrey Edwards Lambert.

She was a custodian at the Clarkson Elementary School, who enjoyed working in the yard and with flowers.

She is survived by her son, Glen Travis Jackson (Cindy) of Leitchfield, three grandchildren, Brianna Angus (Kenneth), Lucas Jackson (Kylee) and Presley Jackson, two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn May Angus and Layton Jackson, four brothers, Wilbur (Betty), Paul (Melea), Jimmy (Sue) and Joe Lambert (Debbie) all of Caneyville, three sisters, Jeanette Green of Louisville, Rita Snyder (Darrell) of Leitchfield, and Peggy Mattingly of Leitchfield, KY and a special nephew, Donnie Pruitt of Louisville. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Buddy Jackson and Joseph Green, two sisters, Dora Mae Cummings and Linda Masterson and one brother, Gilbert Lambert.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, (July 28, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. Joe Brooks and Doug Edwards will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
