Obituary
Willard Jerome Bocock, age 80, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (April 19, 2008) at the Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on January 27, 1928, in Grayson County KY, the son of Worthel and Tresia Ann Higdon Bocock. He was a retired Janitor at the Grayson County High School, an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of the Clarkson Wilhelm Masonic Lodge # 720 F & AM and was a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Deborah Kay Wade of Leitchfield, a son, Edward Bocock of Leitchfield, two sisters, Dorothy Bratcher of Leitchfield and Nellie Sparling of Clarkson, KY, five grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and one great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Odelene Hodge Bocock and a brother, James Worthel Bocock.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (April 22, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Joe Brooks will be officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. There will be a Masonic service on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
