William Allen Butler, age 56, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Tuesday, (October 31, 2023) at his home.

He was born on March 30, 1967 in Indianapolis, IN, the son of Pauletta Kay West Butler and the late Paul Madison Butler.

William retired as a Veteran of both the United States Air Force and the United States Navy. He enjoyed socializing, working on the farm and going to antiques shops and eating out. He grew up as a member of the Baptist Faith and had more recently attended the Church of Christ.

He is survived by his son, Jessy Butler; a daughter, Melissa Butler; two kids who were like his children, Jaidan & Brayden; a grandchild, Dakoda Smith; a brother, Paul Butler (Patty); three sisters, Terrie Vincent,  Angela Elmore (Alvin), & Shauna Creason (John) and his mother, Pauletta Kay Butler. Close friends Richard Borgerding (Therese) and Donnie Roof (Meredith) and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold & Larry Butler.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. CST Tuesday, (November 07, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. CST Tuesday until time of services.

Burial will follow on Wednesday (November 08, 2023) at 11:30 CST in the Kentucky Veteran's Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.
