William C. Dennison, a Grayson County native and former resident died in Maryland on March 5. A memorial Mass will be held at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Leitchfield on Saturday, May 25 at 10:30 a.m. Immediately following the Mass, a graveside service will be held at Saint Joseph Cemetery. The Rev. Randy Howard will conduct both services.
Mr. Dennison is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lucy Beeler Dennison of Frederick, MD; his sons William J. Dennison of Falls Church, VA and Wendell C. (Cal) Dennison of Lilburn, GA; daughters-in-law Judith Lotz and Laura Dennison; grandchildren Will Dennison and Katy Dennison DeBardelaben; and one sister, Mrs. Doris Grant of Leitchfield. Mr. Dennison's parents, Joe C. Dennison and Myrtle Armstrong Dennison, and his three brothers, Clifford, Charles, and Tom, preceded him in death.
Family members will receive visitors at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield on Friday evening, May 24 from 7 to 9 p.m.
