Obituary
William Joseph Kocher, Jr., age 74, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (December 14, 2015) in Louisville.
He was born on January 6, 1941, in Bicknell, IN, the son of the late William Joseph, Sr. and Josephine Ward Kocher.
He was retired from the U.S. Army, serving twenty-three years. He also retired as an HVAC repairman. He enjoyed building small stage coaches, reading, playing solitaire, watching old movies, and listening to old music.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Hack Kocher of Leitchfield; nine children, Larry Kocher, Ginger Kocher, Vickie Gentry, Nancy Miller, Michael Miller, Allen Miller, Tammy Kocher, William Kocher, III, and Patrick Kocher; several grandchildren, including Samantha Kocher, Bradley and Cody Watkins, with whom he lived; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. CST Tuesday, (December 22, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Central KY Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff at 2:00 p.m. EST.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
