William Coy Lasley, age 79, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away peacefully at home at 7:37 a.m. Monday morning, (October 26, 2026).

He was born on June 30, 1947 in Anneta, KY, the son of the late Robert Samuel and Mamie Hack Lasley.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in Vietnam, and then worked at Leggett & Platt for 38 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, & looking for arrowheads.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Anna Bernice Kelley Lasley; one daughter, Teresa Wenner (Bob); and one son, Gerard Lasley (Kelly); four granddaughters, Tasha Kraut (Dale), Tiffany Wenner (Christian), Elizabeth Riche (Jacob) & Haley Lasley; three grandsons; Scotty Wenner, Layne Lasley & Tate Lasley; one great-granddaughter, Lili Wenner; two sisters, Gracie Newton (Clay) & Fran Johnson (Billy) and one brother, Donald Lasley (Wanda). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ova, Laymon & Doris Lasley; and three sisters, Rosie Gaither, Truly Carter & Delphine Jaggers.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (November 2, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Davy Norris will be officiating. Burial will be in the Peonia Christian Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
