Obituary
William T. Mudd, age 93, of Louisville, KY, passed away Monday, (August 30, 2010) at the Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born on October 11, 1916, in Grayson Co., KY, the son of the late Charles W. and Effie Higgs Mudd. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II, a retired barber, a sixty year member of the Sunset Masonic Lodge in Louisville and was a member of the Caney Creek United Baptist Church in Caneyville, KY.
He is survived by his son, Shannon Mudd (Bonnie) of Louisville, his daughter, Deborah Chinn (Timothy) of New Salisbury, IN, four grandchildren, Margaret and Allison Mudd, and Nathaniel and Joshua Chinn, three step-grandchildren, Wayne Chinn Jr and Richard Paul Chinn and Nicole Shaffer and two sisters-in-law, Kay Mudd of El Paso, TX and Jewell Mudd of Ready, KY.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday (September 3, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. Edward Dermitt and Howard Decker will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. Thursday from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
