William "Bill" Thompson, age 63, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Tuesday, (September 20, 2016) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on August 11, 1953, in Brandenburg, KY, the son of the late Charles and Joyce Shoemaker Thompson.

He was a retired carpenter, who enjoyed cooking and taking care of his grandchildren and was a member of Broadway Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Glendolyn Logsdon Thompson, two sons, Kenneth Wayne Thompson (Stephanie) of Flaherty, KY and Joseph Wade Thompson (Jessica) of Clarkson, two daughters, Katina Christy Whitsett (David) of Clarkson and Stacey Tennille Andrews (Charles) of Bonnieville, KY; ten grandchildren, two sisters, Kathy Lewis (Daniel) of Flaherty, KY and Susie Thompson of Elizabethtown, KY, one brother, Michael Thompson (Sharon) of Payneville, KY and his father-in-law, Chester Wade Logsdon of Clarkson.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Pernie Butler Logsdon.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, (September 22, 2016) at the Millwood Community Church in Millwood, KY. Bro. Jeff Dennis will be officiating. Burial will be in the New Lone Oak Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Millwood Community Church from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
