William Felix Vittitoe, age 93, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (October 09, 2015) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on March 11, 1922 in Bardstown, KY, the son of the late Squire and Letha Aline Nelley Vittitoe.
He was a retired flagman for the State Highway Department, who enjoyed collecting UK memorabilia and was a member of the Victory Heights Fellowship.
He is survived by his wife, Lilly Vittitoe of Leitchfield, two daughters, Sherry Miller and Lorma Vittitoe, both of Leitchfield; one son, William R. Vittitoe (Rosa) of Columbia, KY; four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren; and one brother, Joseph Ray Vittitoe of Lexington, KY.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Otis, Preacher, Moody, Duard, and James Vittitoe; and a sister, Goldie Durbin.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, (October 13, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Robert Judd will be officiating. Burial will be in the Payton Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
