Obituary
Willie Moore, age 88, of Leitchfield KY, passed away Tuesday, (September 6, 2011) at Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield.
She was born on October 6, 1922, in Edmonson County, KY, the daughter of the late Leonard and Ada Constant Snyder. She was a retired owner and operator of Moore's Grocery and was a member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Leonard Moore (Charlene) of Leitchfield, two daughters, Bonnie Escue (Clifton) of Falls of Rough, KY and Ellen Hayes (Eugene) of Leitchfield, one brother, James Snyder of Millwood, KY, one sister, Wilma Byers of Elizabethtown, KY, 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday (September 8, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro Charles Larry Bell will be officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
