Willodean Jarboe, age 71, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (November 22, 2025) at Norton Healthcare Pavilion in Louisville, KY.

She was born on May 22, 1954 in Leitchfield, the daughter of the late Paul and Elsie Roof Lindsey.

She was a seamstress and a homemaker who enjoyed raising flowers, sewing, cooking, canning vegetables and listening to music.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jackie Jarboe of Leitchfield; a son, Jackie "Jay" Jarboe Jr. also of Leitchfield; a brother, Everett Lindsey (Patty) of Big Clifty, KY; a sister, Pamela "Pam" Smith of Leitchfield; and five nieces and nephews, Christy Brenner, Robert Lindsey, Mark Smith, Kevin Smith & Garrett Smith. Several great nieces and great nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Brenner; and two brothers, Roger & Ricky Smith.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, (November 26, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
