Wilma Louise Probus Tilford, age 92, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (September 15, 2022) at Grayson Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born on September 28, 1929 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Joseph and Sadie Carter Probus.

She was a homemaker with a big heart who enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She enjoyed mending work and reading. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a devout member of the Leitchfield First Baptist Church where she served as the nursery director for years, and throughout the years continued service in other ministries and mission work.

She is survived by her son, Richard Tilford of Texas; daughter, Rhonda Tilford Fogle (Shane) of Georgia; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She is survived by a special family member, William Clay Whobrey of Leitchfield.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene "Gene" Tilford; two sons, Roger Tilford and Ronald Tilford (Marsha who survives), and three brothers and seven sisters.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, (September 21, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Dennis Cook will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
