Winifred Tilford, age 95, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Saturday, (December 14, 2013) at the Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab in Hardinsburg, KY.

She was born on September 27, 1918 in Falls of Rough, KY, the daughter of the late Arlie C. and Della Mudd Eskridge.

She was retired from Pillsbury/Ballard in New Albany, IN, who enjoyed her pet cats, and was a lifelong member of the Lone Star Church of Christ.

She is survived by her nephew, W Doug (Bethany) Litsey of Lima OH, a step nephew, Richard L (Darcy) Locke of Louisville, KY, her great nephews and niece, Kip (Paula), Kevin (Kaye), Kyle, David C (Stacy) and Amber Litsey, her five great-great nephews and nieces, Jacob, Jenna, Jack, Elise and Devon and a special caregiver and friend, Tommy Hazelwood of Falls of Rough.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Yandel Tilford, her sister, Marjorie Litsey, and a nephew, David (Diane) Litsey.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, (December 19, 2013) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Ronnie Sarver will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
